Our three grand Colonial 19th century houses, each on the State Heritage list, are sitting upon the slope of Monument Hill overlooking Fremantle with the Indian Ocean beyond. Our 4 star rated B&B is filled with a rich collection of art - paintings, sculpture, glass, woodcraft and pottery - from local, national and international artists. Enjoy our flower-filled courtyards furnished with comfortable seating and explore our sculpture garden. We have free parking outside the property (why pay $25/day elsewhere...?)
We are opposite the World Heritage listed Victorian prison and about 5 minutes walk from the cappuccino strip at the heart of the port city. Another 5 minutes stroll will take you to the fishing boat harbour, the railway station or the ferry terminal.
Our rooms are all fitted with ceiling fans and reverse cycle air conditioning for your comfort in summer or winter. Each has a queen bed with finest quality 1000 thread count sheets and a variety of pillows. There are comfortable chairs and a desk for any work that may have to intrude on your stay.
The rooms are equipped with TV, DVD, Bose radio & CD, bar fridge and kettle. Complimentary tea, coffee, mineral water and snacks are provided in every room. Wi-Fi is free in all the rooms and common areas (although the signal can be a little weak in the courtyards). All our rooms are non-smoking and naturally daily housekeeping is provided.
Complimentary tea and cake is available each afternoon in the dining room.
Guests staying three nights or more are offered a complimentary bottle of West Australian wine.
Guest bookings made directly with us include a fine breakfast in our sun-filled conservatory (If booking is made through by a third party website there is a small extra charge.) We serve upon custom made plates and dishes crafted by a local potter and his wife. We provide both continental and cooked breakfasts and are able to cater for vegetarian and gluten free options if given advance notice.
